Lovers of the visual arts are in for a treat.

Joshua Rossouw, owner of Gallery Number 10 and The Fisherman's Gallery in Hermanus, has decided that the time has come to open a gallery in Cape Town.

The Rossouw Gallery in Cape Town is the newest addition to this vibrant group of art galleries. It now represents a variety of top South African artists and the aim is to provide the perfect environment and opportunity for lovers of art to view and acquire art. It is situated on Portswood Road (the road that links the V&A Waterfront with Green Point), and will open beginning of September. This will make a wonderful addition to an area that is rapidly becoming a very arts orientated area in Cape Town. On this road, one can also visit The African Art Factory, The Everard Read Gallery and Die Kunskamer.

The Rossouw Gallery will focus on modern contemporary art. Artists who will be on show include Tay Dall, Cobus van der Walt, A.S. de Lange, Hugo Maritz and Richard Scott.
