In February, Richard decided to learn how to use his camera to take better pictures of his paintings for reproduction in catalogues. Un beknown to him, the course he took at the Cape Town School of Photography, sucked him in the world of photography. He ended up buying more camera equipment as he went on a quest to capture his moment.
"I want to create a body of work of the people who influenced me and my art over the past 5 years", say Richard. "I want the body of work, and the final product, to be a work in progress and exhibit the work and publish a book when I feel I have the correct body of work".
