Richard Scott Blog - 28th December 2025

This week was a blur with Christmas and all. Not much happened studio wise other than four studio tours. So here are a few photos:

A decent photo of the Golden Joyride Piece I did for Henry in Sea Point.

Two new Red Tree and Ultramarine Blue tree prints.

Daily beach walks.

Looking rested.

I spotted this piece of driftwood and thought that it is the exact same size as my     r  i  c  h  a  r  d   wooden stamp. As you may know I use a new stamp every year and since 2020 Richie has been 3D printing them. It's time to go back to wood.

Perfect size.

Got it.

My birthday gift from Craig and Juan. Nomm Nomm olives from Babylonstoren. They are good with John the bread man from Greytons 100% rye.

Carrots and Garlic harvested out the garden for Christmas lunch.

Joanne and I popped in to see Miguel, our local fish monger. He had some delicious hake, and I cooked the tails up for fish cakes.

Joanne called Paul, her brother, for "Dads Recipe". So here we go.

Mashed potato, hake, parsley/chives and bingo.

Happy Kids, Dean, Chad and Amy.

Joanne tried out Enrico's mother in law Spanakopita recipe, it was delicious.

Digging into Angelina's Trifle.

Two days later (27th) at Chad's for a Braai.

Sunday Studio tour with Letizia and Domenico and the family.

Meet Layla, its her 21st birthday and her parents gifted her a Richard Scott 30 minute studio tour and this beautiful Joyride Print.

That's it.

Thanks for watching and reading

Until 2026
