This week was another busy week. I am not sure where all the time goes. I got stuck into The Church again this week with very little studio work so much so that even Frans spent the whole week paining window frames.

The Gang getting stuck into the wrought iron fence.

Frans getting stuck into the window frames.

The man himself on the roof. Hendrik.

The two guys that make my life very easy. Frans and Hendrik.

Almost there.
Monday was Richie's 23rd Birthday and he celebrated with flying 8 hours in the air teaching other wanna-be people who want to learn how to fly. Proud Dad.
The weather is turning here in Cape Town and there is a nice feeling in the air. We have had an awesome stormy winter and it is nice to see the sun coming up earlier and the birds singing at 6am.
Once again the week was Church Church and Church. I promised Danilo and Sami that we would be done end August. We are getting there. The Church is looking brand new.
Tuesday was admin day with Angelique. Not much admin as the art world in South Africa is in winter sleep mode and the northern hemisphere are all on there summer holiday. I did get some good news from Sabine in Dusseldorf of a sale which is super-duper cool. I must pop in there some time. I cannot believe that I use to go see her at Zimmerman once a month on my travels back in the days.

Rim, a new client from Belgium, popped in for a studio tour.
There was also a nice surprise from Henry in Sea Point of a sale and even Pat in Roberson Art Gallery sold a print. So, the season is turning.
On Wednesday Ezlyn popped in to get some advice. Ezlyn was the manager at ORION ORGANISATION. The Charity that I helped set up an Art Department. He has now started his own career and came to seek some advice.

Meet Ezlyn.
Thursday was Church and Friday Joanne and I popped out to run five + errands around town after she completed her work.

The Famous Marco Garbero popped in to say hello.

I made Vetkoek and Mince for the gang.

I found a photo of the Vases I spoke of last week that we acquired from the famous Mervyn Gers. Such beautiful art pieces.
Saturday was NO CAR day, and we both pottered around the house. I did some gardening while Joanne did house stuff.
Sunday we started the usual Sunday Lunch again as we have had a break due to University exams and breaks.

How cool is this: Auction house Strauss is auctioning off one of my prints and then featured it in one of there adverts. Its moments like this that make me realized I have made it.
