Monday was Monday. Say no more.

Espen Kuhle sent me this pic of one of his Richard Scott's in Norway.

Tuesday I popped into town to do a few meetings while Frans got stuck into the thick of the Petrol Cans I mentioned last week. I had a long list of stuff to do in my diary in town.
I stopped for a coffee at SHIFT after dropping Joanne to plan the Ballito weekend.
A client in Ballito asked me to do a large 5.4m long Graffiti construction piece. So, I had to order the wood and buy the paint etc and ship it all to Ballito, just outside Durban in Kwazulu, Natal.
I bought the graffiti spray paint and packed it into the box with all the other goodies like stencils and brushes and the courier collected sharply at 9am.
Then it was off to Woodstock Brewery to get some Wi-Fi. After catching up I headed of to pick Joanne up and head home.

I dropped of the new Vespa Stickers with David at Scoot Doctor. He was so happy.

Ta Daaaaa

David went crazy and stuck them all over a scooter fender.
The weatherman predicted rain Wednesday, so we prepped the work flow accordingly.
Wednesday I popped into town again to run a few errands. First one was coffee and an admin catchup at SHIFT. Then I had a 8.30 connect with Achim Spelling. Achim is the art dealer from Furth Im Wald just outside Munich. We caught up, as Achim sold a lot of my art in Germany over the last 20 years. He also handed me the original papers of mine and Richie’s 999 Ducati I traded him back in 2010. Richie wants to try get it street legal.
Then I was off to collect the bags for the backgammon boards that I was going to drop at Hout Bay Gallery. The bags were slightly too small so we went back to the drawing board, or the sewing machine.

Bags on the left and Board on the right.
I popped into Powertool Repair to get a circular saw blade sharpened and also buy a new blade. Were cutting so much wood lately we need a 3rd blade.
Then its was off to Woodstock brewery to use the Wi-Fi to catch up and order myself a new laptop.
Thursday we prepped for our weekend in Ballito. I have a client, Snow he wanted a 5.4m x 1m large construction piece and it was easier to fly in and make it there. Snow offered to put us up and we were off to Ballito.

Lounge life.

When was the last time you read a newspaper, on an aeroplane nog-al.
Friday I got up early and I painted the piece. It took me the whole day.

Ready, set, go.

Almost done with the first layer.

Snow, my new assistant.

Dale as well.

Adding the black lines to the girls.

Done.
Snow made us a delicious Sirloin on the bone for supper and we had a goo time late into the night.
Saturday we installed it with the help of Conrad and his team. Saturday afternoon Snow had a celebratory lamb on the spit to celebrate.

Assembly of the braces.

Finally in place in Snow's awesome house.

I spotted this on the drop sheet and cut it out and gifted it to Conrad for all his help hanging the piece.

Almost ready.

Saturday Lunch. Snow being a good chef.

Celebrating life and the artwork. Lloyd, Aidn, Snow, myself and Joanne.
Sunday morning, we were up early and off to drive a few old cars of Snow's around Ballito and then a nice breakfast. Not before we went for a swim in the sea.

Morning.

Old cars, modern home and ultra modern art. Spot the Scott.

We got the 1967 Mustang.

We are off. Spot the dark green charger and a old Australian Muscle Car. Cannot remember the name.

No seat belts back then.

Dropping off to pick up the SL500 to head to Richards Bay to see David and Diana.
Then Sunday afternoon we took the Merc 500sl convertible that Snow gifted us to use to go see David and Diana. They were at the studio a while back and mentioned that they own a Sugar Cane farm and we wanted to go see a Sugar Cane Farm. They invited us for lunch and we got a tour of the farm.

Joanne, Diana, Craig, Leanne and David.

David has a huge heard of Nguni Cows.
It was great to see them and catch up.
Then it was late Sunday afternoon and time to head back home.
We had a wonderful time with Snow and his wife Joanne.
Until Next Week
