I spent most of this week on Chat GPT training it to produce what I wanted on the large new Bronze sculptures. It worked. Now we just have to tweak and go into production. The limitations are the patina's on bronze. Lets see.

Probably a little too much of a mirror finish, but if Jeff Koons can do it, so can I.

The only other thing that happened was a really good start to the Muizenberg Series but you saw that last week.

We are going with a 3 prong approach.

1. Slight sand down the planks and keep the colours.
2. Mildly sand them to expose the layers and layers of paint that have been applied to the Muizenberg Beach huts over the years.
3. Completely sand them down to bare wood to give you a raw feel.

Once we have this done then I will apply my creative mind to create this body of work.

This piece is going to be spectacular with the Girls on.

This week, I also had a collector in Johannesburg requesting information on the Wonderwoman artwork he recently acquired, so I updated the catalogue from 2005, 21 years ago when I did the Wonderwoman series.

That’s it. The week was short and sweet.

Sami sent me this pic of the art piece I left in Sardinia.

And this one. Remember I decided not to bring it back as Sardinia have strict laws about removing stuff off the beaches. It did bring back fond memories of Joanne and I hiking the island and passing remote beaches.

We did get back into swing with Sunday lunch and Joanne decided on a braai, so I got stuck in with all the gear. Rump kebabs, lamb ribs and corn on the cob. Or as we call them: Mielies.
