It’s the 4th week now we have been painting over the reject silkscreens. I need to get though 42 pages. Once painted I will send them back to get the girls silk screened over the gold acrylic paint.

Gold Silkscreens. We just could not get the gold right.

I decided to paint on the reverse so the girl is still visible. Kinda tells a nice story.

That's more like the right colour gold.
It was also the third week in a row that I did not go into Cape Town. It’s the thick of winter and everything comes to a grinding halt.
I used the time to update my website and catalogues. I did spend a lot of time with clients and contacts.

Hendrik was sanding the big Ana piece. I spotted this ghost image of her in sawdust on the deck.
I also finished the I ❤️ LUGANO painting 100% and started the I ❤️ SARDINIA piece.

All ready for prints and is for sale.

Yes it's cold.

Getting all my Sardinia memorabilia and found objects ready.

Do you know the story behind the Sardinia flag?
The rest of the week was really quite.

A client sent me a photo of her travel bag.

Hendrik and I popped out to get some black mat to replace the one in the VW Caddy.

Someone had the audacity to do their own Richard Scott 3D print and then even ask me if they can print them all. The conversation ended like this:

FAKE no more.

Robin Sprong from SPRONG WALLPAPER sent me this piece he installed. Definitely not a FAKE.

Two happy clients. Slowly taking over the world. Rod and Adelle.

The smaller Muizenberg pieces are slowly coming out the studio.

Muizenberg Beach Huts. These pieces are made from the actual wood from the Muizenberg Beach Huts.

I forgot I had these two magnetic pieces in studio. They were hiding.![]()
Saturday we went for a long beach walk. I was not in the mood to do any work. It was nippy but nice. Then we just played backgammon and cards on the deck as the day turned out sunny in the afternoon.
Sunday, today, is also lazy Sunday. Joanne is doing admin while I watched the World Cup highlights. Yeah England are through to the Semi Finals.
The fire is going and were going for another long walk, this time into town.
Just back from our long walk. It was 2 1⁄2 hours. We bought some fish and chips and ate them on the beach front.
Thanks for watching and reading, albeit it a short blog this week.
Until next week.
