This week was a short one. I am guilty of not taking enough photos this week. Now and again, I feel like I need a photo break.

Joanne called me on her way to work and said I must look out at the sunrise.
Monday I did manage to complete a test run with oil based enamel paint on the Muizenberg Beach Huts works. The oil base works perfect compared to the water based.

First of Muizenberg Beach Hut works coming out. This is basically a tester for the larger works.

Screenshot of some new stickers coming out soon.

Frans giving 48 sheets of paper six coats of Gold Acrylic paint.
I did a small Ana to see and she looks good. The rest of the day I caught up with diary sketches. The daily ones.
It was nice to wake up on Tuesday morning to a cool breeze coming in from the ocean and beautiful lightning and thunder far out at sea.

Come for a swim. The pool is warm.
Joanne headed out and I made a nice coffee and dressed warm as it was cold, and grey.
It was still dark, so I did my admin at the kitchen table. It wasn’t cold enough to get a fire going, but that day is coming. Normally end April the fire starts and ends late October.
Richie popped in to drop some new keyrings and I made him lunch. He wanted to taste the left over Salami from Neil Jewell’s.
It was good to catch up and hear all his news about flying.
The rest of the day was pasting over some older Camera Men works. You may or may not know about my circular works that I am recycling for Dubai.

Bye Bye Cameraman, hello Gold Tree.
Some news to follow on that.
Wednesday I woke up with that foggie brain that I get once a month or so. I still think it’s a side effect of COVID vaccines.
Nonetheless I got up when Joanne got up and showered and got on with the day. I did have a super duper long list of things to do:
- Repaint scullery top and cupboard
- Message Suzy Lubner about the wall paper, Muizenberg print and the Sabrina Love Print.
- Contact Nicola re pool cushions and order some more Bull Denim ones for clients.
- Order gold pigment for the new Acrylic works on paper that Wim will be silk screening on top.
- Start Raymond's work on the front cover of his Japanese Suzuka Grand Prix 2025 programme.
- Fix Wikipedia
- Pay bills, research the Hilton Hotel, order resin for the Backgammon boards and so the list went on.
Joanne came home and we played cards and had a nice catch up and chilled on the couch.

Time to RE-DO the kitchen cupboards.
Thursday I had to go into town as the town list was getting to longs as well:
- Admin and coffee and SHIFT
- Pop into Computer Mania and buy a new mouse as my mouse was dying.
- Pop into Strauss and drop off a book I promised Frank Kilbourn: The $12 Million Shark buy Don Thomson. It is my bible.
- Pop into Woodstock to drop off a print at FRAMED with Idille.
- Walk over the road and order the 30mm MDF board I need to make the 1m high Bronze sculptures.
- Then I was off to Naturalis in Ottery to order some more BREAK GLASS BOXES as I sold two last month.
- Then I needed some 901 resin as I mix it with sand and use it as a concrete floor crack filler. It works like a bomb and looks cool.
- Then over to Mervyn Gers to see if the guys made up that new batch of “Clay Glue”
- Then off to see Andre at the Brewery to catch up with a beer and do some more work on my laptop.
After that I picked Joanne up and we headed home via the shops for a few bits and pieces. We had another early night as Friday was along day.
Friday, Joanne worked from home, so up at 7am for a change. But the kids were coming for Joanne's famous Friday Morning Breakfast. I cut up some rye and fruit and Joanne did the rest. Haddock and eggs.
It was good to catch up with the kids, but I had work to do, so I excused myself and headed down to studio to work on all the nits and bobs as we were out Friday afternoon till Sunday late.
So here I am at Cape Diem Lodge again typing to you while Joanne is at the Waterfront shopping with Chad. I need to do some work. We are staying over tonight as we have Jacques 50th at a new club in town called The Black Rabbit.

In our favourite spot in town Cape Diem Lodge. Joanne went shopping and I did my Blog on the balcony.

Happy 50th Jacques. It was a great night out.

Great to catch up with Tim.

Got to catch up with Iqbal and Tricia at Jacques Party.
So, I am gonna download all the pics on my phone and pick up the ball with you tomorrow in Robertson.
We we're up early Saturday and off to Robertson to see Hanno at Robertson Art Gallery.

Signing a Road Sign for a client in the Guest Room.

Ta da.
We took the road over the Du Toit Kloof pass instead of through the tunnel.
Roberson was quite. We did our business and then had a nice lunch at Four Cousins.

Richard Scott Schrine at Roberson Gallery.
Then we headed back home for a chilled afternoon after been on the road for 5 hours.
Sunday we did a beach run for the first time in a month or so. Joanne is in the veggie garden foraging, and I am typing to you.

Our lovely beach.
We gonna have a chilled Sunday after Joanne makes us her famous risotto and I'll get stuck into making Joanne some picked fish.
I also wanna start the Backgammon board.
So off I go.
Thanks for reading and viewing.
