A Lamborghini sketch from 2014. Do you remember that project.

Screen grab from last week's Sunday call with me mum and dad. Spot Angelina bottom left.

Tuesday was also a town day. Joanne and I popped into Jason's Bakery for a meeting and then Stellenbosch for another meeting. Again, here is the rest our day in photos.

Tuesday morning. me and by beautiful wife working hard while drinking coffee at Jason's Bakers.

Meeting one with Idan to discuss Back Gammon boards.

Meet Abraham. Abraham supplies Woolworths with Clementines. Abraham was the winning bidder at the Woolworths annual charity ball.

Lunch at Man'oushe. Lebanese. Nomm Nomm.

Got to meet Pieter van Niekerk at Art and Wine. Pieter was responsible for selling a lot of my art at their gallery in Clarens.

Had to get the pic. I want to create neon artworks.

Our view over Fish Hoek for 24hrs.

Train Spotting! Well done to our Mayor Gordon Hill Lewis for getting the trains on track. So proud to be Capetonian.

Nomm Nomm.

Waking up to this tomorrow. Chilling with my beautiful wife Joanne and my soul mate and love of my life. What a super duper way to explore the world with the person you want to be with the most. I love you my dear wife.

Posted to Instagram.

Wednesday was a public holiday. We woke up in Fish Hoek, went for a nice long walk on the beach and popped into Kalk Bay to see the gallery and have some famous Fish and Chips at Kalkies. Then home, some gardening, a fish braai and an early night as Joanne was working Thursday. Here is our day in photos as well.

This fish had our name on it.

Joanne foraging.

Our haul. Fennel, carrots, Leeks, Spring Onion.. Off camera is Edible flowers, spinach and sage.

Joanne's apple, fennel and flower salad.

Nomm Nomm.

Cooking with Joanne.

My attempt at Yellowtail pickled fish. Joanne said, "best ever".

Adding the sauce.

Rest of the Yellow tail was used for supper. Flash pan fried on the hot coals for 2 minutes with fennel to crisp the skin and then grilled for 3 minutes.

Ooooo la laaaaaa.

Thursday was nice to be home. I was home all day for a change. The studio was a buzz with about 12 old artworks that I am painting over. I also managed to catch up on my admin and even spent an hour in the garden with Hendrik and our 8 worm farms. We did a complete overhaul and made up 16 new farms and used the soil created by the worms to add to the garden. Such a cool feeling.

Joanne came home and we had some left over fish. Angelina and Emma came over, and they started to dress the house for their 1920’s party.

Angelina and Emma creating the artwork for their 1920's themed party Friday night at the Melkbos Mansion. Danielle looking on.

I was the guest speaker at this year’s Melkbos Open Studios. So, Joanne and I headed to the Melkbos Hotel and mingled a bit. I met the owner of the Art Gallery in the waterfront Dirk. He’s the guy who now sells Johan Nothnagel’s art. Remember I introduced Johan to John at Hout Bay Gallery and John suggested he go see Dirk. Well Johan is now sell his art and very successfully.

Richie got his Commercial Pilot's license certificate Thursday night at the annual Morning Star ceremony event. Whoop Whoop.

Proud Dad. Well done Richie. One of your dreams come true from age 5.

We didn’t stay to long and headed home to see what the kids had done to the house. We walked into the house, and it was like we walked back in time to 1920. The kids did a great job.

We only got to bed at 11pm, which is late for us early birds.

Friday night Angelina booked the house for her 20th Birthday Party, so I booked Joanne and I a nice spot in town Friday night. We have been wanting to move to town for some time, so Friday night will be nice as a trial run.

Nonetheless I dropped Joanne at work nice and early and headed to shift where I am sitting right now typing to you. I had a nice double espresso and got Joanne a Macadamia milk Cappuccino takeaway. I have just done my banking and am gonna head out in 15 minutes to go run a few errands. I need white backing board for all the new “Circular” works I am creating in studio and then I need to head to Mervyn and see what the next steps on the ceramic vases is.

Got our stash of Atlas Spices.

Sent Richie this pic of his tea set that just came out of the kiln.

Lunch at SAIGON was next level.

Saturday was The Melkbos Art Walk with Open Studios. All the artists open up there studios to the paying public. I had so many visitors that I only had two 5 minute breaks. It was awesome. Even I got overwhelmed. An early night and up again Sunday doing the same. I am in studio now taking a five minute break to catch up on the blog.

Good Morning from our AirBnB.

Enjoying life.

Here we go. Instagram Post.

The first people to rock up at 9am on the dot was Lynn and Marja.

Hannelie Strydom and her family popped in.

Sharing is caring.

Albert Martiz popped in.

More Curious peeps.

Karen and Dirk popped in.

Frazer and the gang.

Angelina's grade two teacher popped in Mrs Cranner.

I have a plan.

So let me sign off and get it out to you.

Thank you for reading.
