Monday was admin all day while Tuesday was studio all day.

Repurposing these stencils into the popular gold ones.

Loving the bling.

Messing about on the studio floor.

Sunset drawings on the couch.
Wednesday was Angelina’s 20th birthday.
She decided to have a 6am dip in the sea. So off we went to Blauwberg where there is a beautiful beach at low tide.
Joanne headed off to work while Angelina and I had a 30min dip in the icy ocean. It was a lot of fun. Gonna make it a regular thing. I couldn’t stop shivering so Angelina suggested a coffee.

Freezing me with Angelina in the mirror.
Then I dropped Angelina off at Emma, her friend and I took the Suzuki home for a warm shower.
I did a quick check in with Frans in the studio and I was off to run some errands in and around town and Woodstock.
I dropped off a batch of Richard Scott t-shirts with Tatenda at Woodstock Brewery to give to the waitresses and waiters. Then I popped in the bag and twine shop for a few meters of canvas material to use as drop sheets and then Artwork.
I did a quick drop at Jacques.

The famous Jacques.
Then I was off home to do some studio work.

I am honoured that Swelco chose to feature my Red Tree on their home page.

You know all about these beautiful pieces.
Thursday I had a long list of things to do in town. I dropped Joanne and then went to SHIFT to do coffee and admin and banking. I then had a meeting with Simba at Robin Sprong to sort out the Richard Scott TYVEK wallets.

Simba doing Simba.

Coming soon.

Spotted my stickers lying around. Love it.

The man himself Robin Sprong.
Then I popped in to Mervyn to see if I could save two of the ceramic vases I did last week. Everyone had to vacate the factory for a week or two to replace the asbestos roof. I managed to save them.
I then quickly popped out to Montague Gardens to purchase 25 sheets of white mounting board. I have decided to do a big print run and get all the prints on board. So, I will be doing that over the next 12 months.
John called me to say the 8 road signs I ordered were ready for collection, so I darted to him in Edgemead and then just made it back in time to Cape Town to fetch Joanne.
I got home and Hendrik had removed all the stainless steel cables from the balconies, polished them and even re-varnished the whole deck and balcony to make it look brand new for summer.
Then Joanne and I settled in for an early night as she was working at home Friday.
Friday we worked from home. I did get up early for a coffee in Melkbos with Tobie, his wife and Dirk from the Waterfront Gallery. Tobie handed me his blank helmet to paint and Dirk, and I spoke of a future venture.
Then it was home to work all day on the mini bronze sculptures.

Never stop painting any surface.
Saturday we decided to stay home and chill. Chad popped in for a haddock breakfast which was nice. Tobie popped in to pick up his matching helmet.

Personal handing over.
Then we settled into a lazy afternoon. Joanne commented that it was nice to spend time at home after our few busy weekends gone past.

Out in the field.
Sunday was up late with our creaky bodies. Nice long walk on the beach with a breakfast on the deck David Higgs style: Tomato on toast. Then we decided to go for a Thai Massage before we headed to Angelina’s 20th birthday lunch with the family at I ❤️Melkies in Melkbos.
